UPDATE: Police Seek Missing Pahoa Woman

According to the Hawai’i Police Department, missing 60-year-old Jan Shon Laio has been located.

No additional information was provided by HPD.

The Hawai’i Police Department is searching for a missing Pahoa woman.

Jan Shon Laio, 60, was reported missing Satuday morning. Police describe her as 5-feet-tall and 140 pounds. She has black hair, brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a white shirt, red jacket, and blue shorts.

Authorities say Laio is in need of medication.

Anyone who has seen or knows the location of Laio should call the Hawai’i Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Individuals who wish to remain anonymous can call the Big Island Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300.
