PTWC: No Tsunami Following Fiji Earthquake

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center says no tsunami was generated following a 6.8 magnitude earthquake in the Fiji region at 5:53 a.m. Hawai’i Standard Time Friday morning.
Accoding to the United States Geological Survey, the quake was located 87 miles south-southwest of Sigave, Wallis and Futuna; 148 miles east-northeast of Lambasa, Fiji; 267 miles northeast of Suva, Fiji; 308 east-northeast of Nadi, Fiji; and 447 miles north-northwest of Nuku’alofa, Tonga.
