Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park is seeking nearly 100 volunteers to assist with the BioBlitz and Biodiversity & Cultural Festival on May 15 and 16.

Volunteers can sign up online by May 1.  Opportunities include festival assistants, set-up and break-down, and data entry.  Additional opportunities that require some park knowledge and advance training are inventory site managers and assistance, and school liaisons.  Traffic directors are also needed, and will be provided four hours of training.

Lunch will be provided to every volunteer, as well as exclusive Dietrich Varez designed t-shirts, according to volunteer coordinator Kūpono McDaniel.

For more information, call 808-985-6015, or email kupono_mcdaniel@nps.gov.
