East Hawai‘i Gas Prices Hold Steady from Last Week

The average price for regular gasoline in Hilo today, March 31, is $3.13 per gallon according to the AAA fuel gauge report.

The average is one cent less than a week ago, and 12 cents more than the same time last month.  The average price weighs in $1.02 less than the same date last year.

Statewide, the current average price for regular gas is $3.14 per gallon.  The average holds steady from last week, and has risen nine cents since the same time last month.  One year ago, the average statewide was $1.10 higher at $4.24 per gallon.

According to the report, the national average for regular gasoline is $2.41 per gallon.
