A lively week of military convoys across the island will continue Feb. 5 and Feb. 6 as Oahu-based service members will convoy the roads between Kawaihae Harbor and Pohakuloa Training Area between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Roads used during the convoys will include Akoni Pule Corridor, Queen Kaahumanu Highway, Waikoloa Road, Mamalahoa Highway, and the Daniel K. Inouye Highway. The convoys will be escorted by military police.

Efforts to support the activity for unit training and readiness have been closely coordinated by the PTA Department of Army police, local authorities, and military units.

Motorists using these roads during the scheduled times are advised to pay close attention and use extra caution.
