An extended furlough inmate who was previously reported missing was returned to the Hawai’i Community Correction Center Friday.

Tasha Gardner failed to report for her scheduled check-in at HCCC on Tuesday, Nov. 25.

According to the State of Hawai’i Department of Public safety, Gardner was arrested on Tuesday by officers with the Hawai’i Police Department.

Through the furlough program, inmates are able to live and work outside of the facility but are required to check-in at various times throughout the week.
