Police Renew Request for Information on Missing Kea’au Man

The Hawai’i Police Department has renewed its request for information about 44-year-old Jeffery Everett Meek.

Meek was reported missing after he was last seen in the Pepe’ekeo area on Nov. 8.

Both ground and aerial searches have been conducted in the area and both were unsuccessful in locating the Kea’au man.

Described by police as Caucasian, Meek is 5-foot-8 and 185 pounds. He has blue eyes and balding brown hair.

When Meek was last seen, he was operating a 1986 faded blue Ford pickup truck. Police have since recovered the vehicle.

Anyone who may have seen Meek and his truck on Nov. 8, or who may have information or know of his whereabouts, are asked to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311 or contact Detective Wendall Carter at 961-2378 or [email protected].
