The Department of Parks and Recreation will no longer be closing the NAS Swimming Pool on Thursday Oct. 30.
It had originally been announced that the facility would experience a day long closure while Hawai’i Electric Light installed new utility poles that service the pool.
Hawai’i Electric Light has since postponed the scheduled work.
A make-up date for the upgrades and temporary closure will be rescheduled and announced once it is set.
Until then, the swimming pool facility will continue to operate at its normal hours.
