County Landfills, Transfer Stations Closed

UPDATE 8/7, 11:55 a.m.: All transfer Stations and landfills will return to their regular schedules on Friday weather permitting. Check for further updates or call 961-8270 on Friday for further information.
County transfer stations and landfills will be closed today, Thursday, Aug. 7, at noon, and remain closed through Friday, Aug. 8, due to weather conditions caused by Hurricane Iselle.
County Solid Waste Division officials ask residents to hold their rubbish until facilities reopen and not to pile rubbish in front of transfer station gates.
Updates on closures and reopenings will be forthcoming.
