Public’s Help Sought in Stolen Credit Card Case

Police are seeking the public’s help identifying an individual from a case from last year involving a stolen credit card.
The credit card was in a purse stolen Aug. 25, 2013 from a downtown Hilo business.
A man was captured on surveillance video using the card the next day at two convenience stores in Hilo.
Anyone with information on his identity is asked to contact Det. Wendall Carter at 961-2378 or [email protected], or the police department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
Anonymous tips can be made to Crime Stoppers at 961-8300.
