A 34-year-old man and his 7-month-old daughter reported missing in January have been located.
Both were in good health when located Feb. 25 in Hilo, police said today.
Police in January said that Eli Jonathan Evans was missing along with his daughter, Jasmine.
Police were told Jan. 20 by the man’s estranged wife that Evans had taken their daughter from the home of a relative for a trip to Kona and hadn’t been heard from since.
It was unclear whether there have been legal ramifications following the disappearance. No arrests have apparently been made in connection with the case.
