Kona Man Sought in Domestic Abuse Case

Police are searching for a 21-year-old Kona man wanted for abuse of a family or household member.
Moala Kuahuia Kaupu of Kailua-Kona is described as 5-foot-11 and 185 pounds, with brown eyes and short curly black hair. Both of his ears are pierced and he has a scripture tattoo on an inner forearm.
Anyone with information on Kaupu is asked to call the police department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
Anonymous tipsters can call Crime Stoppers at 329-8181 in Kona or 961-8300 in Hilo.
