Police are asking for the public’s help locating two men wanted on outstanding warrants in unrelated cases.

Chad Simmerman, 36, is wanted on a bench warrant for contempt of court. He is also wanted in connection with violating a court order and criminal property damage investigations.

He is described as 5-foot-9 and 145 pounds, with brown eyes and light brown or blond shoulder-length hair.

The other man being sought is 25-year-old Kainoa Namaka Black.

Black also has a bench warrant out for him for contempt of court and is wanted for questioning in a car theft case.

He is 5-foot-6 and 145 pounds, with short black hair, brown eyes and a missing front tooth. He may be driving a tan 2004 Mazda pickup truck, license plate HEB179.

Neither has a permanent address but both are known to frequent the South Kohala and Kona areas.

The public is being asked not to approach either individual but to call the police department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311 with information.
