Police Looking to ID Pair Caught on Surveillance Cameras

Police are asking for the public’s help identifying two individuals captured on surveillance video allegedly attempting to break into a fast-food restaurant in Hilo in October.
The incident occurred at the Blane’s Drive Inn on Waianuenue Avenue on Oct. 8.
The suspects did not gain entry into the building but caused damage to a security screen door, police said.
Anyone with information on the identities of the persons shown on the video is asked to contact Det. Grant Todd at 961-2385 or [email protected].
Anonymous tips can be made to Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona.
