The FBI is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man alleged to be involved with child exploitation and sexual abuse of a minor.
Images of the individual were found on the internet.
The man being called John Doe 27 is a Caucasian male, likely between the ages of 40 and 50, with brown hair, graying sideburns and a bald spot.
He wears glasses and a ring on the ring finger of his right hand.
Based on audio taken from video files associated with this individual, it appears as though he speaks with a southern accent and refers to himself as “Jimmy.”
The video images have also included a plaid chair and the inside of a residence which may be recognized by someone who knows the subject or alleged victim.
The FBI hopes that this chair and inside of a residence may provide clues to the suspect’s identity.
Images of the individual being photographed while engaging in sexually explicit activities with a child were first recorded by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in April 2013, and are still being circulated in numerous child-pornography forums across the internet.
The Honolulu office of the FBI said the agency has no information that links the suspect to Hawaii or any other state or region in the US, but is hoping that widespread dissemination of the information will lead agents to him.
