Wanted Hilo Man Considered Dangerous, Police Say

Police are looking for a 35-year-old Hilo man wanted on warrants for failure to appear and contempt of court.
Police said Jacob W. Umemoto is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
Umemoto is 6-feet tall and 165 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Sgt. James Correa at 961-2213 or the police department’s non-emergency number at 935-3311.
Anonymous tips can be called to Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona.
