Information Sought in Leilani Estates Car Theft

Police are renewing their request for information about a robbery and car theft that occurred in the early morning hours of Tuesday, Aug. 20, in the Leilani Estates subdivision.
The 41-year-old victim told police that he was assaulted outside his Maile Street home and a car was stolen from his driveway.
The attacker was described as a local male of average height and weight with medium-length dark hair and a “local accent.”
The car stolen was a blue 2005 Kia Optima four-door sedan, license plate ZAT 755.
