Utah Police Issue Extradition Warrant for Hilo Man

A former Hilo man wanted on suspicion of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor in Utah has been located in Oregon, the Hawaii Police Department said today.

An extradition warrant had been issued for Jaycen Robert Munoz by the Unified Police Department of Greater Salt Lake. His last known address was in Hilo.

Police said Munoz, who was located on Tuesday, will be extradited to Utah.

Police are looking for a Hilo man wanted by police in Utah for alleged unlawful sexual conduct with a 16- or 17-year-old.

An extradition warrant has been issued for Jaycen Robert Munoz by the Unified Police Department of Greater Salt Lake.

Police said the 38-year-old Munoz was last known to live on Olu Street in Hilo.

Munoz is described as 6-feet tall and 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the police department at 935-3311.

Anonymous tipsters can call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona.
