Kona Visitor Missing for More Than a Week

A 52-year-old man from the mainland visiting relatives in Kona has been missing for more than a week.
Family members said Kevin Anderson left their Kailua-Kona home on Thursday, July 18, on foot to go swimming at Honl’s Beach on Ali`i Drive, and hasn’t been seen since.
Anderson is described as 5-foot-10 and 160 pounds, with a tan complexion, medium-length gray hair and blue eyes.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Det. Walter Ah Mow at 326-4646, Ect. 238, or the police department’s non-emergency number at 935-3311.
