Police Seeking Man Indicted in Kolekole Park Robbery

Big Island police are asking for the public’s help locating an 18-year-old man in connection with the Feb. 6 robbery of a couple camping at Kolekole Beach Park.

Tyler Taylor is wanted on an arrest warrant issued following a grand jury indictment related to the crime.

Tayler is described as 5-foot-6 and 150 pounds, with short black hair.

He has no permanent address but is known to frequent the Puna district.

Anyone with information on Tayler is asked to contact Det. Norbert Serrao at 961-2383 or [email protected] or the police department’s non-emergency number at 935-3311.

Anonymous tipsters can call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona.
