Pole Work Closing Two Blocks of Puainako Thursday Night

A two-block section of Puainako Street will be closed to all but local traffic Thursday night to allow for utility pole work.

Hawaii Electric Light Co. said the work will involve the blocks between Iwalani and Kuhilani streets.

The closure is scheduled from 10 p.m. Thursday until 4 a.m. Friday.

The work will not require power outages, the utility said.
