Paving Work Tomorrow at Kawailani Three-Way Intersection

Motorists are being advised to avoid the three-way intersection on West Kawailani Street in Hilo tomorrow because of a repaving project.

The project involves the intersection of Kawailani with Ainaola Drive and Pohakulani Street.

Single-lane closures will be rotated during the day on all three of the roadways to allow for the repaving work.

The work, part of a long-term project involving the relocation of underground utilities, will be ongoing from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather permitting.
