Police Seek Identity of Alleged Shoplifter

Police are trying to identify a woman wanted on suspicion of shoplifting.

The suspect allegedly stole items from a store in Hilo at about 4:20 p.m. on March 27.

The woman, whose image was captured by a surveillance camera, is described as being of Caucasian-mix descent. She is short with a large build and long, dark hair.

Anyone with information on her identity or location is asked to call the police department’s non-emergency number at 935-3311.
