A woman who moved to Hamakua in December from the mainland is apparently missing.
The family of 26-year-old Cherie Crystal Grace Ward told police that they haven’t heard from her since December or January.
Police said Ward may be in the Hilo area in the company of a man named Denny Burniston.
Ward is described as Caucasian and tall with a slender build. She has light-brown hair and green eyes.
Anyone with information on either Ward or Burniston is asked to call the police department’s non-emergency number at 935-3311.
