Three Ka`u residents have been charged in connection with a break-in earlier this month at an electronics business in the Hawaiian Ocean View Ranchos subdivision.

Police said the burglary on Prince Kuhio Boulevard was reported on Feb. 4.

An investigation by detectives led police to execute a search warrant at a home on Jasmine Drive in the same subdivision.

Arrested at the home were 24-year-old Joshua Lawrence, 26-year-old Heather Hofferbert and 42-year-old Ronnie Gates. Police said all three are residents of the Ocean View area.
