Help Again Sought Finding Missing Kona Man

Big Island police are renewing their request for the public’s assistance in locating a 57-year-old missing Kailua-Kona man.
Police said John Eckert was last seen in Kailua-Kona on Jan. 13. They said he has a medical condition that may require medication.
Eckert is Caucasian, 6-foot-2 and 184 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.
Anyone with information on Eckert is asked to contact Det. Shawn Tingle at 326-4646, Ext. 277, or via email at [email protected]. They can also call the police department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
