Police Looking For Another Hale Nani Escapee

Big Island police are looking for another escapee from the Hale Nani Correctional Facility.

Police said Ryan Jeffries-Hamar, 31, escaped on Tuesday from the facility.

Hale Nani houses inmates on work-release programs and those nearing the end of their sentence and preparing to re-enter the general population.

Jeffries-Hamar is 5-foot-7 and 165 pounds. He has short brown hair and blue eyes. He was previously a resident of Kona.

Anyone with information on his location is asked to call police.

Dallas Wesley Runyan, 32, left Hale Nani on July 21 and is still at large.
