Flags to Fly at Half-staff in Honor of Slain Sikhs

At the request of President Obama, Gov. Neil Abercrombie has ordered that all national and Hawai`i flags will be flown at half-staff to mark respect for the fatal shootings at a Wisconsin Sikh temple.
The flags are to be flown at half-staff from today until sunset on Friday.
On Sunday, a gunman killed six people and critically injured three others at the temple in Oak Creek, Wisc. before being shot to death by police. Authorities have labelled the massacre an act of domestic terrorism against the Sikhs.
