Man Charged With Murder in Honomu Slaying

A man arrested early Sunday morning at a Honomu home has been charged with murder.
Daniel Schuster, 49, of Honomu was charged with second-degree murder, promoting a dangerous drug and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said Tuesday.
His bail was initially set at $54,000.
Police responding to a Pua Street home at 6:18 a.m. Sunday found 30-year-old Joshua Earl Trickel of Honomu with a fatal knife wound.
