The Hawaii Police Department is once again asking for the public’s help in getting more information on a robbery that took place on the University of Hawaii at Hilo campus on December 6th.

At approximately 8:00 p.m. that night, a 24-year-old female student was accosted by a man who was wearing a black hoodie and jeans. The suspect forcibly stole items that the student had on her. She struck the man, which forced him to flee the scene on foot.

The suspect is described as a light skinned, thin-framed male who is approximately 5-foot-8. Anyone who has information on the incident, or the whereabouts of the suspect, should contact Detective Grant Todd at 961-2385, or send him an email at gtodd@co.hawaii.hi.us.
