Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man seen leaving the area of a burglary in a Puna subdivision on Jan.7.

Two other men were arrested at the time after after witnesses reported suspicious activity at a residence on Hanalei Drive in Ainaloa.

The two men arrested on suspicion of first-degree burglary were 20-year-old Thomas Daniel Wellman and 22-year-old Robert Roberto Galindez, both of Pahoa. They were later released pending further investigation.

The third man fled on foot. He was described as possibly in his early 20s with dark brown skin, black hair and a medium- to heavy-set build. He was wearing a red shirt, beige shorts, a black cap and slippers.
