The Hawai’i Police Department says that Railee Santos has a tattoo with the word “respect” on his left forearm, as well as tribal-type tattoo on his right forearm.

A Hale Nani Correctional Facility inmate went missing Monday evening, according to the State of Hawai’i Department of Public Safety.

Officials say that 20-year-old Railee Santos was present during a 6 p.m. headcount, but an hour later was unaccounted for. Staff at the facility did a search and called the Hawai’i Police Department immediately.

Santos, described as 5’5” tall and 115 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes, was serving time for terroristic threatening. His sentence end date was scheduled for June. Upon being located, Escape 2 will be added to his charges.

The public is advised to call 911 should they see Santos.
