Big Island police have charged 34-year-old Jarvis Naoki Higa of Hilo with attempted murder for a shooting incident last week in Hilo.
Detectives charged Higa Monday evening after locating and arresting him earlier in the day.
He is being held at the Hilo police cellblock with his bail set at $375,000 pending an initial court appearance.
He was charged in connection with an incident early last Wedneday in which he allegedly threatened a man with a firearm and fired a shot in the parking lot of the Orchid Manor condominium complex.
