Several areas in Central, Eastern Pacific being monitored for tropical development
None, however, are expected at this time to directly move into or over the Hawaiian Islands. But there is some uncertainty in the forecast early next week because of the possibility of a tropical disturbance forming and passing just south of the state that could bring heavier showers depending on how close it gets.
