Flags at half-staff in honor of fallen law enforcement officers

Gov. Josh Green takes action in observance of Peace Officers Memorial Day, May 15, and Police Week, which is May 11-17.

Hawaiʻi Island honors fallen officers during National Police Week

The public is invited to the Police Week ceremonies in Hilo on Monday and in Kailua-Kona on Friday to honor the 8 fallen officers of Hawaiʻi County.

Flags ordered at half-staff in honor of Peace Officers Memorial Day

This action is taken to honor law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty while protecting others.

Flags Ordered to Half-Staff of Peace Officers Memorial Day

Gov. David Ige has ordered that the United States flag and the Hawai‘i state flag be flown at half-staff on Friday, in honor of Peace Officers Memorial Day.

Police Officer Memorial Day Commemorated

On Friday flags, will fly at half-staff in honor of men and women who have dedicated their lives to maintaining public safety.
