Forest reserve, trail and sanctuary to reopen after being closed because of Mauna Loa eruption
Mauna Loa Forest Reserve and Mauna Loa Observatory Road remain closed because of continued volcanic hazards. The summit and all National Park Service areas on Mauna Loa also remain closed.
