Puna man faces array of firearms, other charges after domestic incident

Charges against 39-year-old Joshua Allen Sheen of Kurtistown stem from an incident Monday morning, when a 29-year-old woman walked into the Hilo Police Station and reported being involved in an earlier domestic argument in which Sheen allegedly threw a bowl at her, striking her forehead and causing her pain.

2 Hawai‘i County employees charged with stealing gas from Hilo Police Station

37-year-old Christin Eve Ho‘omaikainani Ho of Hilo is charged with two counts of third-degree theft and 39-year-old Chase K. Leopoldino of Hilo is charged with one count of third-degree theft. Both are employees of the Hawai‘i County Department of Public Works.
