Police arrest and charge Hilo man with assault involving 71-year-old

The Hawai’i Police Department arrested and charged Jerome Leader, 32, with assault after witnesses saw him involved with an incident in downtown Hilo that resulted in substantial injuries to the face and spine of a 71-year-old man.

UPDATE: Police locate missing 64-year-old man in Hilo

The Hawai’i Police Department says 64-year-old Pill Hwan Cha was found in good health.
