The High Technology Development Corporation invites Hawai‘i-based manufacturing companies to take advantage of its new, free consulting through INNOVATE Hawaii.

The High Technology Development Corporation (HTDC) has awarded grants to two Hawaiʻi Island companies based in Kona that focus on sustainable mariculture. Hawai‘i Coffee Company blessed their million dollar investment in a new coffee roaster to improve the company’s capacity and to create more jobs.

Hawai’i’s High Technology Development Corporation was selected by President Barack Obama to participate in the program.

The Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism and the High Technology Development Corporation will host two Big Island workshops over the next week.

The new partnership allows the state HTDC to extend its services from Oahu to Hilo and lave a larger impact on the Big Island to support the growing local tech community.
