Those who plan to enter a team into the T-Ball and Coach Pitch Baseball League and potential coaches must attend the mandatory meeting at 5 p.m. Jan. 14.

Applications are being accepted now from anyone interested in temporary positions during the 2026 Summer Fun Program, which provides healthy, safe and fun recreational activities for keiki.

The season is scheduled to run from Feb. 23 through May 14 and includes divisions for players ages 8–10, 11–12 and 13–14.

Leo Saito and Jake Otani of Hilo win Boys 13-14 and 15-18 age divisions, respectively, after 36 holes at The Club at Kukui‘ula on Kaua‘i.

The meets are open to youth ages 6 to 14 years old and will be conducted Feb. 7 and 21, 2026, at Kealakehe High School in West Hawai‘i and Feb. 28 at Kamehameha High School in East Hawai‘i.

Individual and team registration options available from Nov. 24 through Dec. 22 for Elementary (grades 3-5) and Intermediate (grades 6-8) groups. Season runs Jan. 26 through March 11, 2026.

The 2025 Coach Jimmy Yagi Vulcan Basketball Camp invites young athletes to hone their skills and have a good time during a day camp in Hilo from July 21-24.

“Basketball has been a tool for positive living here in the islands for several generations and it is our turn to pay it forward and do what we can to help grow the game,” Vulcans head basketball coach Kaniela Aiona said in an announcement for the clinics that will be hosted May 17-22 on 6 islands.
