IRONMAN, in collaboration with local and state officials in Hawai‘i, announced today that the 2023 VinFast IRONMAN® World Championship triathlon will continue with a two-day format in Kailua-Kona, Hawai`i on Oct. 12 and 14.

The IRONMAN World Championship will be conducting a half-distance qualifying race this weekend for athletes vying to compete in the 2022 triathlon in October.

Hawaiʻi County Mayor Mitch Roth traveled to Utah during the weekend to attend the 2021 IRONMAN World Championship, which was postponed from last October and moved from the Big Island because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
