Police are investigating a break-in at a Mountain View home Monday night that happened while the occupants were asleep.

At about 10:30 p.m. Monday, a 54-year-old woman called police to report that she and her 63-year-old husband were awakened by noises in an adjacent room in their home on North Kulani Road.

When the husband went to check he encountered three men, who then ran from the home.

Two of the suspects ran towards Ihope Road while the third ran toward Highway 11.

Neither of the occupants were injured and nothing was taken from the home.

Two of the suspects were described as about 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-7. The third was about 5-foot-9.

Anyone with information on the matter is asked to contact Det. Royce Serrao at 961-2272 or rpserrao@co.hawaii.hi.us.
