Pohoiki Boat Ramp Road to be Resurfaced

The road leading to the Pohoiki boat launch in lower Puna will be resurfaced on Tuesday, July 16.

A spokeswoman for the Department of Public Works said the project is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The boat ramp will remain open but boaters should plan for delays.

If necessary, the work will continue on Wednesday, July 17.

The boat ramp is adjacent to but not part of the Isaac Kepo`okalani Hale Beach Park.
