A stretch of Highway 19 on the western side of Waimea will be subject to intermittent road closures next Monday, June 17.

The closures are necessary to allow for the investigation and disposal of unexploded ordnance in the Sandalwood subdivision, which is located between the 58- and 59-mile markers.

The closures are scheduled to occur between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.
