April 25th is all about Baroque at the UH-Hilo Performing Arts Center.

San Francisco-based Musica Pacifica will showcase a variety of early classical music, including music from their recent album “Dancing in the Isles.”

Founded in 1990, Musica Pacifica has forged a reputation as one of America’s premier Baroque ensembles, winning national and international awards.

Made up of four members, the group produces an intimate but often lively blend of sounds emanating from their fusion of the recorder, violin, harpsichord and viola.
