Kailua-Kona Man Charged in December Burglary

A Kailua-Kona man has been charged with burglary in connection with a break-in last year at an Onaona Drive home.

Police today charged 49-year-old Jerome Soares with first-degree burglary and second-degree theft in connection with the Dec. 17 incident.

Bail for Soares was set at $35,000.
