Police to Hold Community Meeting in Volcano Jan. 25

The Hawaii Police Department will hold another of its community meetings on Friday, Jan. 25 from noon to 2 p.m.

The meeting at Cooper Center in Volcano is the latest in the meetings being held throughout the department’s eight police district’s on the Big Island.

They are designed to allow the public to discuss police-related concerns with the police chief as well as commanders who oversee police operations in the Puna District.

Police ask that participation be limited to persons who live or work in Puna.
