Leche De Tigre will spend New Year’s Eve at the Aloha Theatre for the second night in a row. This sizzling Latin Gypsy Funk band and special guests will keep that celebratory vibe going from 8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
Brauer & McPhearson folk jam duo will open the show.

Swingin’ New Year
Your gams will have four hours to swing, salsa, tango, waltz, cha-cha and rumba at the Hilo Elks Lodge. The Island Swing Orchestra will tirelessly entertain with the music of Glen Miller, Frank Sinatra, Peggy Lee, Benny Goodman and more.
Live vocals by Kauilani Trainer, Elena Welch and Marius Stranger. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Tickets are sold at Basically Books. The fun begins at 8:30 p.m. The Hilo Elks Lodge is located at 150 Kinoole Street in Hilo.
Party in Volcano
The Kilauea Military Center’s Lava Lounge offers a night of dancing with a midnight toast. Ring in the New Year at Pele’s feet. The festivities begin at 8 p.m.
Soar at Kalani
DJ Bluetech will spin feel good tracks from 8 p.m. through 12:30 a.m. Kalani’s EMAX will be outfitted with great visuals and interactive art.
This substance free event is $10 or by donation or free for Kama’aina. Kalani Oceanside Retreat is located at 12-6860 Kapoho Kalapana Road in Pāhoa.
NYE at the Script
This party venue will be packed as local dj’s keep hearts pumping until 5 in the morning. Doors open at 8 p.m.
Run DMT headlines this event. Expect to sweat with epic throbbing basslines, atmospheric downtempo and more.

For the Ka-boom
You are a lucky buggah if you’re a guest at the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai this NYE. The fiery light show will ring in the new-year in a spectacular fashion.
For those without access to the resort’s beautiful bars and vistas, the resort mentioned that the light show might be visible from the Queen Ka’ahumanu Highway.
Nearby beaches will be closed early, per Department of Land and Natural Resources. Be safe out there!
