New HGTV Show Features Big Island Real Estate Firm
Big Island real estate will receive a lot of national attention in the coming months thanks to a home and garden TV network launching a new show featuring a local real estate firm.
“Hawaii Life” will focus on Hawaii Life Real Estate Brokers, which has an office in Puako. The firm, headquartered on Kauai, also has offices on Oahu and Maui.
The show will follow brokers and their clients who are looking for their ideal property in Hawaii.
Katie Minkus, broker-in-charge of the Big Island for Hawaii Life Real Estate Brokers, says that of the 13 show episodes, four of them were filmed on the Big Island.
Minkus adds that while the real estate firm has 40 agents that cover all of Hawaii Island, the HGTV program will emphasize west Hawaii properties.
Hawaii Life will debut on HGTV on New Year’s Day and then air every Thursday night starting January 3.
HGTV is launching the tropical real estate show in the dead of winter as many on the mainland deal with cold and snow.
A lot of eyes will be on Big Island real estate when the show airs.
According to HGTV records, the network is distributed in 98.9 million households and its website averages 3.9 million unique visitors monthly.
Nearly one third of the network’s viewers have a household income of $100,000+.
