Fiesta Named BIAC Driver of the Year
Hot Rod racer Chad Fiesta was named “Driver of the Year” during the Big Island Auto Club’s 2012 awards banquet, held November 10 at New Star Restaurant in Hilo. At the banquet, the group’s board of directors announced the top two drivers in each Pro Gas and E T bracket competition.

11.90 index (Street Rod): Winner – Kaike Deponte. Runner-up – Lawrence Cacabelos.
12.90 index (Junior Street Rod): Winner – Ian Bernard. Runner-up – Christopher Mulliken.
Pro Bike: Winner – John Malson. Runner-up – James “Kimo” Kamanu.
E T Bracket: Winner – Chad Fiesta. Runner-up – Davy Watanabe.
